Big Time Rush
Big Time Rush is an American pop music
boy group that formed in 2009. The group consists of Kendall Schmidt and James
Maslow and also Logan Henderson and Carlos PenaVega. In 2009 they signed with
Nick Records before moving to Columbia Records. The group was featured on
Nickelodeon's television show Big Time Rush. From November 28, 2009 until July
25 2013 the show aired. The premiere episode featured the group's first single
promo, "Big Time Rush". The group has released three studio albums:
BTR in 2010, Elevate in 2011 and 24/Seven in 2013. The band went on an
indefinite hiatus from 2014 which lasted until 2021, when they resumed live
shows and released the single "Call It Like I See It". Nickelodeon
has signed Big Time Rush a record deal in 2009 as they were simultaneously
airing the TV show Big Time Rush. Nickelodeon has also teamed up with
Columbia/Epic Label Group for production and original music. Their debut
single, "Big Time Rush" was featured on the show on November 29th,
2009. The announcement was made by Nickelodeon the show first shown in the U.S.
in November 2009 and then made available worldwide. The show premiered during a
one-hour special trailer for the show and it is the current theme for the
show's opening. Promo singles such as "City is Ours", "Any Kind
of Guy" and others were also released during the show. Big Time Rush also
remixed the Play song "Famous" The song was written by the singer. It
was released to iTunes on June 29, 2010, Another track, "Halfway There",
was released to iTunes on April 27, 2010 after its premiere on the series. It
was the band's first single to be charted on the Billboard Hot 100, peaking at
number 93 due to digital sales. To celebrate the release of their debut album,
Big Time Rush released "Till I Forget About You" on September 21,
2010. The album, which is titled BTR It was launched on the 11th of October in
2010. The album reached the top 3 spot on the Billboard 200 and sold 67,000
copies within its first seven days.
